AKIPRESS.COM - The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, strongly condemns the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks carried out from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran on civilian facilities in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the organization reported.

He underscored the importance of avoiding the recurrence of such actions and called for restraint in order to prevent further deterioration of the regional situation and the possible widening of tensions in the region.

The Secretary General reiterated the full solidarity of OTS Secretariat with the Government and the brotherly people of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
