Denis Petrashov wins gold at U.S. swimming tournament
AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz swimmer Denis Petrashov claimed a gold medal at an international swimming competition in the United States.
The latest stage of the Pro Swim Series is being held in Westmont, Illinois.
Early on March 7, the final of the 100-meter breaststroke took place. Petrashov finished with a time of 59.7 seconds securing 1st place and the gold medal.
The day before, he competed in the 200-meter breaststroke finishing 5th overall.
On March 8, he will swim in the 50-meter breaststroke event.
