AKIPRESS.COM - Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev held a meeting with Minister of Justice of Türkiye Akın Gürlek in Ankara on March 10.

Secretary General Omuraliev congratulated Akın Gürlek on his appointment as Minister of Justice and conveyed wishes for his success.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on enhancing collaboration in the field of justice, promoting the rule of law, and facilitating the exchange of legal expertise among Turkic States.

Particular attention was given to the development of joint initiatives aimed at improving judicial cooperation, harmonizing legal frameworks, and supporting capacity-building programs among member and observer states.

Secretary General highlighted the importance of deeper institutional cooperation in the justice sector to support the broader goals of the Organization, including regional integration, good governance, and sustainable development.

Both sides expressed their readiness to continue close cooperation and to explore new opportunities for collaboration in the field of justice within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
