AKIPRESS.COM - Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev held a meeting with Minister of Interior of Türkiye Mustafa Çiftçi in Ankara on March 10.

Ambassador Omuraliev congratulated Mustafa Çiftçi on his appointment as Minister of the Interior and conveyed his sincere wishes for success in his duties. The parties exchanged views on joint efforts to combat transnational threats, including terrorism, organized crime, human trafficking, and irregular migration.

They also emphasized the importance of promoting the exchange of expertise and best practices among the interior ministries and law enforcement agencies of the Turkic states.

The meeting concluded with both sides expressing their readiness to continue close dialogue and enhance practical cooperation between the relevant institutions of the interior within the OTS framework.
