AKIPRESS.COM - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced a large-scale military operation against Israel in response to the killing of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Press-TV reported.
The operation, codenamed "True Promise 4," represents the 61st wave of retaliatory actions since the current conflict began.
The IRGC reported that more than 100 targets in central Tel Aviv were hit, specifically focusing on military and security installations. Iranian officials emphasized that their missiles bypassed Israeli air defense systems without obstruction, estimating that the strikes resulted in over 230 enemy military personnel killed or wounded.
Beyond the strikes on Tel Aviv, the IRGC confirmed that attacks were also directed at strategic sites in Jerusalem, the port of Haifa, Beersheba, and the Negev Desert.
In a significant expansion of the regional confrontation, the Iranian military also claimed to have conducted simultaneous strikes against United States military bases located in Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
