AKIPRESS.COM - OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev addressed the 2nd Meeting of the Heads of Government of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Baku, Azerbaijan.

During the high-level session, Omuraliev characterized the gathering as a vital mechanism for strengthening practical cooperation and ensuring that government actions remain effectively coordinated with the strategic decisions made by the OTS heads of state.

Highlighting the Organization's expanding influence, the Secretary General noted that the OTS now encompasses 58 distinct cooperation areas and mechanisms.

He underscored the urgent need to accelerate the implementation of joint initiatives and high-level decisions to meet the growing demands of the member nations.

Omuraliev reaffirmed the Organization's commitment to deepening ties in trade, transport, energy, and digital transformation.

Furthermore, he called for enhanced coordination in political and security matters to better address evolving regional and global challenges, signaling a proactive shift toward more integrated regional governance.
