
AKIPRESS.COM - A meeting of the Joint Steering Committee between the government of Mongolia and the United Nations on the implementation of the "Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2023–2027" was held at the UN Resident Coordinator's Office on March 27, Montsame reported.
During the meeting, participants put forward several recommendations regarding challenges encountered in implementing the "Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2023–2027" and exchanged views on developing the government of Mongolia–United Nations cooperation strategy for 2028–2032.
The meeting of the Joint Steering Committee was co-chaired by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, Head of the Sustainable Development and Social Policy Division of the Ministry of Economy and Development Chandmani P. and UN Resident Coordinator Jaap van Hierden. Members of the committee and representatives of Mongolia's development partners also participated.
