AKIPRESS.COM - Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, President of the World Ethnosport Union, on the margins of the 8th Ethnosport Forum held on 4-5 April in Antalya.

They exchanged views on the promotion of traditional sports and cultural heritage, as well as on the importance of preserving the ancestral values and identity of the Turkic peoples for future generations.

They also discussed ongoing and prospective areas of cooperation between the OTS and the World Ethnosport Union, particularly in promoting traditional sports at the international level and enhancing engagement among the youth of the Turkic World.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperation in areas of mutual interest with a view to further contributing to the preservation and promotion of the common cultural heritage of the Turkic World.
