Delegation of Turkmenistan takes part in "Central Asia-Afghanistan" consultative dialogue

AKIPRESS.COM - The first meeting of the "Central Asia – Afghanistan" Consultative Dialogue was held in Kabul on April 5. The Turkmen delegation was headed by Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Afghanistan Hoja Ovezov, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a joint assessment of the opportunities and challenges in relations between Afghanistan and the Central Asian countries, the expansion of economic and transit cooperation, as well as the development of a comprehensive roadmap for regional integration.

In his speech, H. Ovezov informed the participants about the practical actions of the Turkmen side aimed at stimulating the economy of Afghanistan.

The meeting participants supported the continuation of the "Central Asia – Afghanistan" Consultative Dialogue.

Interest was also expressed in close cooperation on the implementation of joint projects related to the reconstruction of Afghanistan and the integration of the country into the system of global connections.
