AKIPRESS.COM - Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Nyssanbaev, in the framework of the Second Meeting of the Ministers responsible for Environment and Ecology of the OTS held in Astana on 23 April 2026.

During the meeting, the sides discussed environmental cooperation among Turkic states, focusing on areas of mutual interest and regional sustainability goals.

The OTS Secretary General provided an update on ongoing OTS initiatives and emphasized the importance of deepening collaboration in environmental protection and climate resilience.
