
AKIPRESS.COM - Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev participated in the OECD Skills Summit 2026 and delivered remarks during the Tour de Table on skills policy development.
He highlighted the importance of building inclusive and future-ready labour markets through enhanced cooperation on skills development, vocational education and training, and mutual recognition of qualifications among OTS member states.
The OTS Secretary General also informed participants about ongoing cooperation within the OTS in the field of labour, employment and social protection, aimed at promoting inclusive growth and strengthening labour market resilience across the Turkic region.
Ambassador Omuraliev also emphasized the role of digital transformation and inclusive labour market policies in addressing evolving skills needs, particularly for youth and vulnerable groups.
He reaffirmed the OTS’s commitment to strengthening regional and international cooperation, including with the OECD, to advance evidence-based skills policies.
