
AKIPRESS.COM - More than 30,000 residents took part in the "Immortal Regiment" march held in Bishkek on May 9 to commemorate Victory Day.
Participants carried portraits of relatives who fought in World War II as a tribute to war veterans.
According to the city police department, over 3,000 law enforcement officers were deployed under enhanced security measures during the event.
Authorities said the march was held without incidents or public order violations.
