AKIPRESS.COM - Vice-President for Medical Affairs of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship of Turkmenistan Oguljahan Atabayeva held a meeting with Ambassador of China Ji Shumin on June 26, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.

Atabayeva emphasized the current high level of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation, which is successfully developing across a wide range of areas.

The Ambassador highlighted the expansion of bilateral ties in recent years, as well as the regularity of high-level visits.

Atabayeva also expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for the high level of organization during the visit of the Charity Fund's delegation to Beijing in August last year.

Within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation. A meeting was also held with Vice Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Shen Yueyue.

The diplomat emphasized the significance of the Turkmen delegation's visit to China.

The Vice-President of the Fund emphasized that the visit had become a symbol of friendship and mutual understanding.

Special attention was paid to the prospects for developing cooperation in the field of children's healthcare. The Fund's readiness to consider constructive proposals from Chinese partners was reaffirmed.

At the end of the meeting, Oguljahan Atabayeva and Ji Shumin exchanged their best wishes, expressing confidence in further successful cooperation for the benefit of the younger generation.
