AKIPRESS.COM - More than 150 participants are taking part in the 8th Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum and the 12th Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference, which open on August 6 in Issyk-Kul.

The events bring together the prime ministers, ministers, regional leaders, and representatives of development institutions and businesses from Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

The opening ceremony will feature video addresses by Presidents Sadyr Japarov and Vladimir Putin. The program does not include their in-person participation.

The forum will focus on industrial cooperation, energy, transport, finance, agriculture, digitalization, public-private partnerships, and interregional cooperation.
