32,000 voters support Crimea to remain part of Ukraine

AKIPRESS.COM - crimea-referendum- The restoration of the 1992 Constitution of Crimea and remaining the part of Ukraine were supported by only 32 thousand voters, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Crimea Mikhail Malyshev told a press conference on Monday.

Yesterday, Crimea held the referendum on the status of the republic. 100% ballot processing showed 96.77% of Crimeans voted in favor of joining the the Russian Federation. Voter participation made 83.1%.

The total number of voters comprised 1,274,096 people. 9,097 ballots were recognized invalid. 1,233,002 people voted for the joining Russia.
