AKIPRESS.COM - A Dartmouth mining company has reported a major gold find at its property in southwestern Mongolia, reports The Chronicle Herald.
Erdene Resource Development Corp. said the discovery of high-grade gold was made during exploration of its Bayan Khundii prospect earlier this year.
“We are very excited by our new discovery,” Erdene president and CEO Peter Akerley said in a news release. “We are now developing plans for accelerated exploration.”
Erdene is also developing the Altan Nar project, 15 kilometres north of the exploration site.
Erdene is a Canadian-based resource company with over 15 years experience in precious and base metal exploration in Mongolia.
