
AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Damdingiin Tsogtbaatar on June 13 held a telephone conversation with his Kazkah counterpart Beibut Atamkulov, Montsame said.
Minister Tsogtbaatar confirmed that Mongolia seeks to expand the scope of its relations with Central Asian countries including Kazakhstan and make political talks constant and deepen trade and economic relations with the countries.
The sides emphasized the importance of high-level reciprocal visits between the two countries in further developing Mongolia-Kazakhstan relations and cooperation. They commended the recent launch of direct flight between Ulaanbaatar and Nur-Sultan and expressed hope that it will boost exchange between citizens and bilateral cooperation in tourism, trade and economy.
The diplomats also exchanged views on deepening bilateral cooperation at international and regional levels.
